Westcliff High School for Boys has a fine reputation for drama and public speaking and we encourage parents to consider signing up their sons for the LAMDA programme at the School. Last summer, more than one hundred pupils undertook LAMDA Examination and achieved a very high proportion of Passes with Distinction.

The educational benefits of this programme are manifold and include increased confidence and improved verbal communication skills.  At WHSB, we have a skilled instructors who provide lessons which are timetabled throughout the school day. Pupils will receive schedules designed to minimise the regular loss of lesson time from any single  individual subject. Provision is available from any of each of the School's three pathways (Acting, Public Speaking, and Verse and Prose),
