WHSB’s annual celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD) earlier this month, saw the entire School community come together for an Assembly on this year’s theme for IWD “Inspire Inclusion”, which emphasises the importance of diversity and empowerment in all aspects of society.

Coinciding with National Career’s Week, School Vice-Captain Moboluwarin and School Captain Will delivered a thought provoking and inspiring presentation on the exceptional achievements of American businesswoman Rosalind Brewer, also drawing attention to pervasive issues such as the glass ceiling, gender pay gap and unconscious bias, which can impact on women in the workplace.
