Well done to our Chemistry team (pupils in Years 9 – 11) who won the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Chemistry Mastermind Essex Regional Finals. The WHSB Team now progresses to the national finals, titled the “Top of the Bench” competition, which will be held in the Spring Term 2024 in the city of Edinburgh.

We are grateful to Mr Wightman and Miss Negus who supported the pupils in preparing for this challenging competition, and to Mr Wightman for travelling with the team to the final. We look forward to following the Team’s progress in 2024 and wish them luck in the national final.
