National Writers Competition Success
Congratulations to Fizlee (Year 10) for his success in the national Young Writers competition. Young Writers organised this poetry competition during the last academic year, around the theme of ‘Empowered’. 35,500 entries were received from 1,500 schools.
Fizlee (Year 10) won the Autumn Term competition with his superb entry ‘Censorship’. All entries were then judged and Westcliff High School for Boys was chosen as the winning School for the competition, receiving a prize of £100 in book tokens for the School.
We are so proud of all our pupils who submitted some fantastic entries for this competition, and of Fizlee for his impressive achievement.
