GCSE Results 2021

Westcliff High School for Boys congratulates its pupils and staff on an outstanding set of GCSE results in 2021.  The excellent results are particularly welcome given the significant disruption created by the pandemic since March 2020.  These GCSE outcomes are amongst the School’s best ever with 30% of all results achieving the top grade (grade 9) and with 80% of all results being graded 7, 8 or 9. These results reflect the commitment and resilience shown by the students and staff across the last two academic years. There have been many superb individual performances, including 34 students who achieved 8 or more 9 grades and two students who achieved 12 grade 9s.

WHSB Headmaster, Mike Skelly said:

“We congratulate our Year 11 students on their outstanding GCSE results. The pupils and staff have faced significant challenges both this year and last year arising from the pandemic.  It is to their credit that they have responded to those challenges with great determination and fortitude. The pupils, staff and parents should take considerable pride in these results and I commend them all.  We wish the students every success as they move to the next stage of their education.”
