Cadets in our CCF Royal Navy Section were delighted to have the opportunity to obtain their Level 2 Powerboat qualification. Using both displacement and planing ships they navigated the waters around Bradwell-on-sea, learning the rules of the sea, buoys, navigation and chart reading.

The Cadets spent two days on the water, in a multitude of craft, as they were taught about safety procedures, such as man overboard, coming along, dropping anchor and towing. Well done to all the Cadets involved; they thoroughly enjoyed the two days, both on and off the water.
