Every year at WHSB, Staff and Sixth Form students team up to raise awareness of and funds for Movember. Movember raises money for men's health, specifically focussing on mental health and suicide prevention, prostrate cancer and testicular cancer. Money raised supports research, health projects, and programmes that aim to improve the lives of men globally.

Our WHSB Movember Team have chosen to either grow a moustache or 'Move for Movember', walking or running 60 kilometers throughout the whole month of November in memory of those 60 men who die from suicide every hour, worldwide. So far they have raised just over £1,800 for this very worthy cause, and we are proud of their fantastic achievement.
