Annual Service of Remembrance for the whole School

Our annual Service of Remembrance for the whole School was held on Tuesday 11 November, supported by cadets in our CCF Royal Navy, Army, and Royal Air Force Sections. This is an important occasion in the School’s calendar, during which the pupils, staff and parents gather in the School Hall to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who died in service during both World Wars and other conflicts.
The School community shared hymns, readings, prayers and music to remember the fallen, and our School Captain, Gabriel Williams, laid a wreath in memory of those former pupils from WHSB who gave their lives in the service of their country.
With thanks to all our pupils and staff who participated in, and supported with, the preparations for this event, and to our Co-Chair of Governors, Ms Fiona Colwell, and President of the OWA, Mr Terry Birdseye, who joined us for our service.
