Congratulations to our Upper Sixth students who participated in the RSC Chemistry Olympiad

Congratulations to our Upper Sixth students who participated in the RSC Chemistry Olympiad earlier this year, with some achieving some of the highest marks in the country. This prestigious national competition run by The Royal Society of Chemistry is designed to challenge and inspire Upper Sixth students studying Chemistry at A-Level by helping them to develop critical problem-solving skills, think more creatively and test their knowledge in real-world situations.

In a competition designed to stretch those in their second year of A Level study, our Upper Sixth students achieved six bronze, seven silver and one gold award. Well done to George on his gold award; only 8% of entrants achieve this in the UK.

With our thanks to Dr Archer for preparing the students and facilitating the School's entry to the competition.
