  • ¿Habla usted español?

As parents will be aware, the MFL Department started to offer Spanish as an option for Year 7 pupils in 2013. Many of the pupils who selected Spanish in that year will be starting Year 11 in September 2017. To support our linguists in their preparation for their public examination oral tests, the School employs Foreign Language Assistants, who work predominantly with pupils in Years 11-13 in small groups, practising general conversation and other speaking skills.

As we will only need support in Spanish with our Year 11 pupils for around 3 hours per week in the academic year 2017-18, we would be interested to hear from any parents or friends of the school who are native speakers of Spanish and who would be interested in working with small groups of pupils to improve their oral skills. Interested parties should send a brief letter and Curriculum Vitae to Mr Partridge, Director of Resources and Support Services.

    Mrs J Williams
Senior Teacher: Staff Tutor and Acting Head of MFL
