THE SIXTH FORM HAS NOT ONLY TAUGHT ME TO BE ABLE TO THINK FOR MYSELF BUT ALSO TO HELP ME DEVELOP A GREATER APPRECIATION OF MY SUBJECTS OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM.
DAN, YEAR 13

Pupils follow a traditional curriculum that allows them to develop their knowledge and skills in the Lower School across a broad range of subjects in the Arts, Humanities, Languages, Mathematics, and the Sciences before making their GCSE choices from a wide range of subjects.

The curriculum provides breadth and promotes scholarship. It encourages pupils to be inquirers, thinkers and knowledgeable as well as principled and compassionate young people. It is a curriculum that prepares pupils for the challenges of the modern working life as well as promoting their development as well balanced and confident individuals. The quality of our curriculum owes much to work and dedication of our highly qualified teachers. They have created a curriculum which excites and encourages debate. Pupils are offered the opportunity to constantly critically evaluate the world around them. We continue to review our curriculum to ensure that it remains relevant and stimulating and we have recently expanded our range of modern foreign languages for our Year 7 pupils who now choose two languages from Spanish, French and German.
